Ever had the moments when you were in trouble with your parents, and as your Mom or Dad yelled for you, they called all your siblings' names by mistake? For example, if your name was Richard, and your siblings' names were James, Tom, and Karen....your parents yelled: "James..uh, Tom...uh, Karen...uh, dammit, whatever your name is, GET YOUR ***** OVER HERE NOW!!!"
Your story?
Sure, but I don't care about the many occasions that happened. I would only be upset if my lover called me her ex's name by mistake, especially while in the throes of passion

LOL my husband has called me by his ex wife's name a couple of times, but it was only when he was really irritated with me, which always has struck me as funny.
Plus, no matter what I was doing that was irritating, it's always eclipsed by his major faux pax so it really doesn't bother me very much.
You don't even need siblings...I got called by my aunt's name, my grandmothers, the dogs, the cats, the neighbor.
My mother also did that to my daughter....when the kiddo was about 4 she asked about it....told her to just go with it....you know she's talking to you!
My mom was more likely to mispronounce our names.....let's say my sister's name is "Janet", but our Mom would say "Jennet".
