Reading (books and internet blogs on music and travel), listening to music, playing my trumpet, going to the gym, hiking, bike riding, cooking, going to see live music, travel, going to see films/theater, going to a museum (so many here to see). Many of these things I also enjoy doing with a partner, though I also do these when I have been single.

I live for my time alone. Usually two afternoons a week and most of Saturday and Sunday. Working in my garden, taking long walks/jogs, reading, petting and talking to my cats. Going on CD, of course...

I too live for my alone time, which is mostly just the weekends. Since I work in Education, I also get 2 weeks for Christmas, a week for Spring Break, and about 2 months in the Summer, though this year I will work an extra month for Summer School.

I read...mostly from Facebook (I follow/liked several sites like National Geographic, CNet, my local newspapers, Librarian and other Tech sites), etc.to City-Data, and Previously TV forums, along with anything that comes up that I wind up Googling. I do read the some books as well, preferring Biographies and Mystery/Thrillers.

This is also when I catch up with DVRed TV shows, as well as the occasional movie either I've bought or through Movies on Demand. I mostly prefer movie watching on the Big Screen though, and I will go alone if my movie buddies don't want to see the movie of choice.

Since I had my youngest daughter who is only one and a half I feel like I'm never alone anymore. If I am lucky enough to have a few hours to myself I usually clean the house or take a nap (lame I know.) Before she was born I used to read a lot and paint. I also went through a really crafty phase where a built tiny furniture.

I really miss reading and having a creative outlet but just don't have the time for myself right now. I figure in a few more years I can get back to it. Enjoy your alone time everyone, I'm jealous.
