So good to hear this! May he continue to improve and leave that hospital with a second chance and new outlook on life. Keep updating us.

I'm so glad to hear the good news. Just stumbled across this thread, and I wanted to add my voice to those wishing you and your family the best. I hope your brother recovers quickly and fully, and that he and the rest of your family get the support needed to move beyond this and thrive!

He has opened his eyes for the first time, only for a little while. Didn't say anything, just tears rolling down his face once he saw me. I told him he didn' have to say anyhting, he just had to rest.

We were lucky my mother wasn't the one with him at the time, she would have started crying and that kind of thing would put him in distress. That has to be avoided.

So sorry to hear about what you are going through OP.

I hope when your brother recovers, he will find the courage to share and talk about his worries or maybe fear that lead him to conclude that he was better off dead.

I am so glad to hear that you were the first to look in his eyes Prince. This must be so hard on your spirit! What a strong soul you are!
Bless you as you move on through this, and thank you for coming back and letting us know. I was wondering about you and your brother just this morning.

So sad for your family. But, glad that he's making progress. Hopefully, looking into your loving, non-judgmental eyes gives him extra strength to fight for his life.
