Every time I've traveled, I've had issues with a few people who want me to buy them stuff on my trips or bring them back things. I've even had people demand to be able to go on my vacation with me and my husband, and asked if they could stay in his family's home with us! Um, no, sorry. I am no longer friends with these people, because over the years, this wore me down.
hahaha, that is funny.
I got rid of all users in my 20s. All that's left are really good people. They would usually rather pay a little more for shipping and order the stuff themselves.
Every now and then I meet one of my friends and their friend tags along and that friend is overly interested in my life in the US. I have learned to see the pattern. They are super friendly, want to exchange contact information, we send a few emails and then they start asking for favors. I am over it.
This time I was unprepared because she is my best friends partner and my best friend usually has a good judgment in picking people.
I think that both the host and the guest should play their proper roles.
Because I live in Honolulu, I have taken in so many guests, i.e. relatives, friends, friends' friends,...etc to stay in my place. Some know how they should behave. But some other guests are really demanding, i.e. expecting us to provide lodging plus meals plus escorted sightseeing for days or week.
So if it is possible, we seldom take in any guests now. And of course, when we travel we also seldom bother our friends/relatives even though they invite me to stay in their homes.

We lived together at some point for about half a year. It was all awesome. I stay with her every time when I visit. Usually I visit her 1-3 nights and contribute somehow so we both are in a win-win situation. She will visit me in 2018 for 2-3 weeks. With the gf if they are still together.

Actually the scenario has changed.
It used to be just you two who really enjoyed being together. But now two strangers are added: your boyfriend and her girlfriend.
I don't know how big her apartment is. If it has just one bathroom, I can anticipate conflict.
I'd ignore your best friend's gf's requests and only get your best friend what she requested. You don't owe her gf anything except being nice to her.
You might want to consider a night or two during the stay to try an Airbnb just to give them a break in their tiny apartment. Plus I'm sure that you're going to take them out to a good meal at some point during your stay in their city.
