Like others have said, block him on FB, ignore his calls and texts, ignore him if you see him at school. If he corners you, tell him you have somewhere to be and leave. If he doesn't let you leave, call 911. Then put a restraining order on him. Don't take this type of obsessive behavior lightly and DO SOMETHING ABOUT it other than complaining about it here!

Yes, I got it. He mistakes my niceness and politeness for interest.
I know you don't want to behave rudely, but isn't he being rude to you by persisting when you've said no a dozen times? He's either rude or clueless, so just be plain, simple, and direct without any added rudeness.

I have many months back sent him a message saying I am NOT interested whatsoever in him. He said he got it.
Last year, I helped him out a bit with course work because he was a new student and I guess he mistook it for more.
Just block him already. Block him on Facebook, block from calling you or texting you. When going from one point to another at school take alternate routes. If he persists then say "well, I really do NOT want to have to resort to this, but you are leaving me with no choice but to contact the authorities. What you are doing is harassment". For what it is worth, there will actually come a time when you won't have to worry about this. You will get older and all the men will turn into Helen Keller. So, as nutty as this sounds, enjoy this while it lasts. And by that, I mean enjoy the attention, not the stalker like behavior. But, seriously, don't let this get anymore out of hand than it already is.
