I am in the minority here. I say shut just ask her 'probing' questions and let her figure it out on her own. For example, you ask her if she thought about how her parents are going to see her daughter OR what she will plan on doing to support her family if he is UNFAIRLY convicted? If she decides to go anyway she will tell him that you were against it during their first fight and if you think he is controlling her now, wait until you are on his enemy list.

Well, let's face it, your friend wasn't playing with a full deck when she allowed him unprotected sex with his assurance that "she'd be fine" in the first place. *sigh*.

It sounds like the best thing that could possibly happen for her is for him to land in jail for a good 15-20 years . . .
