Your last thread was about your perception that someone was disrespecting you and no one could tell you any different. Now you've got this guy that says you are disrespecting him and you're insisting that it ain't so.

This friend is kind of a nut. A young nut. And he's all wrapped up in this girl and being nutty.

He enlisted you to do some detective work and you left fingerprints. Inadvertently, but you forgot your gloves.

If he declares that the "friendship is over" because of this nuttiness – so be it. Move on and be more of a grownup than he is.

Is this really how you want to be spending your days?

It is concerning that you decided to stalk this woman because your cognitively impaired friend told you to.

What exactly are your boundaries? How far would you go just to follow someone's instructions?

By accident cuz he wouldn’t leave me alone about her. I want nothing to do with her.

Tell him you're not his wingman, and to quit calling you about her.

Done. Find new friends.

Sounds like another reminder that impulse clicks on social media can have unintended consequences! People are too willing to drop/trash relationships with the people in their lives because of idiotic less-than-nothing events.

Going to someone's facebook page, and liking an animal picture does not constitute stalking . If it did, then those of us who ever looked up our SO online to find out about them would be stalkers too.

Just DM her and let her know that you're creeping on her pics because you like her, and ask how she would feel about you clicking "like" on a photo posted in 2009. It's all about obtaining consent.

What are you talking about? I'm an elderly lady, and don't do such things. And the OP is not interested in her either, lol. Also, since when do you ask to "like" anything? Nobody else does. And how do you know the photo was put up in 2009? Who cares when it was posted? What a vivid imagination .

I feel so awful. But it seems like now if it’s not this it will be something else he blames me for. He has lost other friends over this.

Life is too short for such stuff. Just stop answering the guy's calls & messages, and get on with your life.

Some people are just not worth the bother.
