I decided to grocery shopping. While I was getting one last thing an employee opened up a registered I quickly got over there and people were fussing about me having a oversized cart of groceries. So I decided to unload them slowly.

Was I in the wrong?

If you decided to unload your cart slowly because you resented their fussing, yes you were. Just one more person making things even more unpleasant than they have to be.

Yes. Would you want the person in front of you unloading their groceries deliberately slowly? I didn't think so.....why then did you do so?

Are you proud of yourself?

If you got the lane fairly, and the other people were too busy not paying attention that they missed it, then they shouldn't have gotten upset.

Were you the next person in a line or did you blow past all the people in line?

Regardless, I don't really think you needed to post on a forum to ask this question. You already know the answer.

Feeling a bit in charge here or plain unpleasant und just inconsiderate of cashier and other customers? You know one of their ratings is items per minute? Great job!
