I wonder if there are any straight males that prefer to have a gay male as a friend, perhaps as a qu33r eye". (I can't believe C-D censors that word .)

Hi Wulf,

Some of my best guy friends in the past have been str8. My only friend is a straight guy and we get along really well. We can talk about intimate stuff like concerns with male anatomy and sexual stuff without being embarassed...it is cool. I'm more of the caring and sensitive one and my friend is more of my advisor ( he gives me advice about guys)....it works out well...our sense of humor is real "tasteless" too...good match...

Yeah, Chuck and Larry is a touchy subject with me, well with a lot of Aussies and interesting that you mention it on this friendship thread because it seems that this is one case where a friendship didn't work out so well.

No laughing matter: US comedy may be a rip-off - Film - Entertainment

Oh and my touchy feely incident was more like being felt up by Divine!!

A better question is, which species do you prefer as a friend? For me, my dear old trusty chocolate Lab.

Thanks, after fixing the censored part, I found the Wiki def. of it. Never heard of that term before, but I like it! Also funny is "dyke tykes" that Wiki mentions.

Nah, they're 2 different movies. The Australian movie is not about firemen.

I like fruit fly but "friend" covers everything.

Ha! I'm sure the blokes were in the SES or the CFA in the original so pretty much the same thing except volunteers.

I think that's asking way too much. How is a straight male, and a husband no less, supposed to take on the role of "girlfriend'?

I actually felt a little shudder up my back when I wrote that.
