This got me to thinking. Lots of people would like somebody to hang out with and talk to without dragging a sexual relationship into the equation. There's Meetup for group activities but where is the one-on-one equivalent? Craiglist Platonic seems to have even more pervy ads than the regular categories. I looked up Platonic on City-Data forum. There are exactly five threads since 2009 (i guess this makes #6) and even those threads contain passages like "I find it real fun to glide my lotioned hands across someone's warm back."
What about those people who just want to talk to someone simpatico via app, email, phone, or person-to-person without overt or implied psychosexual weirdness? Where is our App for That?
