If you knew my husband you'd be chuckling too. Undoubtedly I'll be wearing my painting clothes, a picture on an easel of me flipping him off(yes there is a pic of this!)...the thoughts are endless.

Maybe I should have a lawyer write this up to avoid the possible embarrassment

You mean to tell me you don't already have a "proper" outfit hanging in the closet?!

Our kids already have specific instructions in regards to our "remains"... the funeral is up to them.

For you, I would hope that your epitaph would read: "What did you do today that made you happy?"

Of course, when I get really sick of the world, I could always take 2 or 3 weeks of vacation so nobody's alarmed and at least manage to endanger the public health some more...

Awww, that's nice. Maybe that's what I'll tell my DH.

You trust your kids to handle the details of your funeral? My kids would probably tease my hair up like Cruella DeVille!

I have! And I know for sure I dont want my family planning it. Besides, I dont want one. If someone cant make peace with me when I am alive, the hell with them after I'm dead!
I am being cremated, no service or memorial. My ashes are to be scattered over 4 specific locations that are dear to me.

Old folks back home have everything prepared for their funerals, but it's a bit early for you I'd say... I know here people even buy their graves beforehand. One of my ex's brothers sent us a picture once of his future home complete with the tombstone and a map of the hundred some countries he's visited. Eventually the map will have to be retouched as he keep traveling... That's a bit eerie to me.
