Maybe we should start a website for people who want to air their dirty laundry and we can respond

Yep, neurotic people can be fun...in limited doses.

There was one case where I was on a city bus in the province of Alberta in Canada while visiting the Canadian Rockies....and I was going to the world-famous West Edmonton Mall...the one that has the amusement park inside and all that crap for -30 degree weather.

Turns out this elderly woman who had moved from another part of Canada to be near her children struck up a conversation with me when she figured out I was from out of town. She then proceeds to show me the way into one of the many mall entrances. She then continues to tell me how she was a Holocaust survivor and about her trek to North America (Canada) from several of the Slavic countries. I just listened to her and nodded and asked a few questions, but kept wondering if her kids weren't giving her the moral support she needed. At any rate, getting onto public transit in such crappy weather to go walk around the West Edmonton Mall shows a lot of initiative and willpower on her part.

YES! Sometimes good, sometimes not

Last night, we were at a party, I asked the security guard where the ladies room was, we talked for a second and I asked if he was retired from the police department and he said "No, I smoked too much weed in 1969 and drank too much hard liquor to go into law enforcement"

Too much information too fast... and people are ALWAYS doing this. It really cracks me up. My hubby says I should apply for Barbara Walters jobs because people just talk, talk, talk to me and fast. Strange.

Does this happen to you?

But with you I think its because you seem so sweet and nice. It comes across in your posts. I bet its BEAMS out when you are in person.

Polly is sweet and nice and helpful. She will have many jelwels in her crown one day.

People used to just tell me their entire life story after meeting me for 5 minutes when I was younger. Really strange and personal things that I not necessarily wanted to know. It doesn't happen anymore though. I guess I'm not as approachable or sweet and naive looking anymore. Nor do I "hang out" at bars or coffeeshops either. Can't say I miss it!
