So. here it is Christmas. We were supposed to go to Disneyland today but Yahoo said it would rain, so we canceled it and rescheduled our reservations for tomorrow. Well, it;s sunny here in the desert with some clouds, but no rain. I think we coud have gone down there today. I don't think it's really raining there today. Oh well, I get to be there tomorrow and the following day, so what am I complaining about, right? I'm just bored. We were going to see Valkyrie at The River in Rancho Mirage but when we got there the entire state of Maine was in line at the theater, so we left. Now I'm just stuck here bored outta my flippin' mind, thinking about that time when Eli bit me!
lol...you could never say anything you'd regret.....let er rip
Well, I think pretty much everybody here knows how I feel about dogs at home and the majority of dog owners... It's Christmas, though. Let's keep it joyful!
Sorry to hear of such an even during a family get-together.
It's an animal, so it wasn't that wise to take its toy. However, I'm a little surprised that any shepherd (German, Belgian, Australian, etc.) would do this, as they are the smartest breeds around.

Yeah - smart enough to let you know they don't like their toys being taken away from them!

Funny really, I don't speak dog but I know by how he jumps around and acts if he needs water, food, a walk or whatever. he is smart for a dog and trusts me. I've never seen a dog that loves the jacuzzi like he does, put him in and its instant ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Yeah, you never wanna grab a toy from an animal. My cousin's bird, an umbrella cockatoo, bit me once. Nearly took off my damn hand! She and I had gone to a bird show and bought a bunch of toys for our birds. We got to her place and laid all the toys out on the floor and let her bird walk around and look at the toys. Eli (her bird) grabbed one of the toys I bought for one of my birds and started chewing it up. I grabbed it from Eli and said "NO". He charged at me - all his feathers up - in attack mode - and grabbed my hand. It was so fast, I thought I was gonna die!!! From that day forward I never grab anything from that damn bird - he'll kill me!
So true!!! When we visit my boyfriend's crazy aunt and her family, we're careful around their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He acts friendly and will bring you his toys as if to play, but it's a sneaky trick as he quickly gets Mr. Hyde nasty if you try to touch his toys.
So I don't think that it's your dog's fault.
