I was sitting on the love seat watching my german shepard eating up the attention he was getting, tail wagging walking in a circle with a mouth full of teeth showing oh he was loving it, then my brother reached for his chew toy. I'm out of gauze bandage now, peroxide is getting low. I told my brother before he left that I wasn't going to hold up a picture of him anymore while I was smacking the dog around...lol
I guess there has to be some kind of drama or its not a Holiday!

Me too I feel bad, he was making excuses for the dog but I guess its my fault that I didn't put him up, he around 9 years old and I guess I can't include him anymore.

It was so odd, he was petting and scratching the dog.....It was like....oh god yes! then.....DON'T TOUCH THAT!
His hand had puncture wounds across the top and around his palm, I've seen the dog bite femur bones in half so I know it was a warning bite but its still bad.

Yeah, you never wanna grab a toy from an animal. My cousin's bird, an umbrella cockatoo, bit me once. Nearly took off my damn hand! She and I had gone to a bird show and bought a bunch of toys for our birds. We got to her place and laid all the toys out on the floor and let her bird walk around and look at the toys. Eli (her bird) grabbed one of the toys I bought for one of my birds and started chewing it up. I grabbed it from Eli and said "NO". He charged at me - all his feathers up - in attack mode - and grabbed my hand. It was so fast, I thought I was gonna die!!! From that day forward I never grab anything from that damn bird - he'll kill me!

sheppards are not love puppies. they just act that way. holidays get dogs worked up just like people.
a quiet room is better for a dog some of the holiday period. sorry your brother got hurt. i can tel it bothered you.

Thanks, yes I do feel bad, I always put him in another room when little kids are around but I never thought he would bite an adult.
