I have been asked a couple times to be the mother of a few peoples baby. And NOOOOOO not like that. Serious requests from couples who cant. I declined because...Well:

- Shooting a watermelon out of my butt doesn't seem like much fun.
- I think I would worry about it afterwards (naturally connected)
- I think its just kinda a strange request

I would have for a family member or friend I think. The problem for me would have been, to have carried this baby for 9 months and then to have to hand it over.

I would hope the person asking such a question knows you well enough, to know if you would be able to handle the situation.

Well my first response was a question to their state of sanity.

I know how it feels, to feel that emptiness inside, when you have fought the devil and back, in order to conceive a child.
Sometimes desperate measures take over, and we reach out to the ones we feel can take it, I guess, is a small way of putting it. Probably not the correct words, but...it all adds up to the same.

Depending on the circumstance I'd consider being a stud for a woman whose hubby was popping blanks and they wanted a child. I actually had this situation come up with a family friend in recent years. They were a good, decent couple who had tried for a long time and really wanted a child.

If it came shooting out of your butt, you have a much more serious issue.

No never have. None of my friends seem to have a problem conceiving, and I think it's best for someone who has already given birth to a healthy child to be a surrogate.
