We have 1 neighbor thats cool, he shovels our walk when it snows and I do the same for him if he hasn't gotten to it yet.

Then we have a neighbor who's name is Mario and we call him "Super Mario" who parks his entourage of work vans up and down the street, picks fights with everyone on the block, never cuts his grass etc.
He's a real piece of work. Funny, I never though it was legal to run a business out of your home.

One day a few winters ago I came home to a bunch of dead geese by the basement sliding glass door.

Man I called up my old neighbor Brian and was WTF man?! They're not even cleaned!

We've had mostly good neighbors but some not so good ones recently moved out and some good ones just moved in. They introducted themselves prior to moving in and told us they'll help watch out for suspicious activity around as we've had our car stolen from in front of our front door and other things around here. They also said they'd like us to get together this summer and make us authentic Mexican dinner on the grill outside. They seem very nice.

We alsmot lost our house due to a bank damand for immediate payment of some accrused interest (very long stroy). about 12 neighbors, some of whome we hardly know. Got together and each loaned us between $1000 and $3000 and covered the interest. We are slowly paying them back. Most of them are refusing any interest on the moeny that they loaned us.

Wow, that's great!

I'm glad so many of us have some stories to tell. For every story here, there are many untold, too.

Wish I had them...they aare a distant memory. I've had some nice ones in the past. Mine basically mind their own business and just say hello except for the people to my right. I lived on a street onc ,where we actually had a street party, blocked off the road an all, cept no one bothered to get permission so you no that part ended.

I Once lived in a so so part of New Orleans, but some parts of NO are like that good and bad right next to each other. Had an old lady who sat on her porch and could tell you about everyone who walked past.

We have had good and bad neighbors over the years. That would include dog sitting, kidsitting. We would do the same. If someone was out of town the lawn got mowed. Right now my best neighbor has a swimming pool. I can use it any time i like.......looking forward to summer.
