First impression of People are seldom what they are really like once you get to know them. I dislike Folks trying to make a good impression. It just prolongs finding out who they really are. and I do find out sooner or latter. All I expect is Honesty. I'm cool with just about everything else. I like variety in my Friends, which is why I have more than just one.

She still got it. She sang with a younger star...and she was better than her at her old age.

Alright sk8er dude.. I think you're a complete and utter moron for even thinking of making a post like this.. I mean..

Ah, hell, sorry bro, I was being too judgmental. Just screwin' with ya a bit..

Seriously though..

Yes, we do observe people when we first meet them, but I don't think that we are necessarily judging them.. I think it's more of just a natural reaction, but I don't think we really think about it when we do it. If that makes sense.

I don't think that one person can ever really judge another until after they know something about that person. I mean, if I see some dude walking down the street, and I notice that he's dressed a little weird, that's all I'm going to notice. The guy may be cool as hell, but you can't tell that just from the way someone looks.

I agree with what you're saying in theory, but I just think there's a better word to use there. Appraise or assess maybe? I dunno.. but I get your point.

My Dad said that a person is always being compared to others, of course he was alluding to his own sense of how he stacked up in comparison to others. He could be very judgemental of people and seldom cut them much slack.

I look at human beings as the one thing that has mystified both science and religion, we can be preoccupied with ourselves as no other creatures can, religion and science both seek the answer to our origins but for the most part fail to make any sense of our present condition. I guess we are victims of our ego's and therefore destined to look upon ourselves and others in terms of measurement.
