I've never tweeted or whatever or been to Twitter. The instant now-now-NOW of our culture gets on my nerves.
I feel the same way. It's nice to know what friends are up to, but I don't need to know it right now. That's what the weekend is for. And I'll never understand these people who feel the need to follow hundreds of people. If I were watching the twitter feeds of even 50 people, I'd never have time for anything else. I also think there's an element of narcissism to Twitter. If you think people out there are interested in following you and reading everything you post, what does that say about you?
