I don't believe in fate, but people who are negative may just have to accept they have more struggles than most.
I wouldn't make such arrogant statements if I were you! Also, some of us remember your "positive" history on this forum! It's been only a little over a year. We don't have dementia, ya know...

or is that a negative statement?
I think "despise" is too strong a word. I don't enjoy being around negative people. I had a good friend/co-worker that was so negative that I finally distanced myself from her for about a year. When it looked as if we might wind up working together again, I discussed it with her, at length. This was several years ago, and we are co-workers again, and also friends. She took our discussion to heart, and has made a serious effort to be a more positive person. She isn't there 100%, but she is a far more pleasant person than she used to be. I find it's better to be open and let people know what the problem is. Sometimes, you can make things work.

That. ^^

Now, surely you know us regulars are quite familiar with your "oh poor miserable life" threads you used to post. I mean, I'm really happy for ya if you've really found a more postive foothold in life, but yikes man ....you were one of the worst, most negative posters on here, not that long ago. Take it easy.

Maybe you'll figure it out when karma catches up with you!

I don't really believe in karma, I'm not much of a spiritual person.

But my earlier statement still stands.

the key is coping skills, and taking responsibility. If they lack these things, it is their own loss.

OK, I admit I was negative before, but I realised that it was my own doing. became more confident and realised I am me. Screw everybody else and what they think.

As said before, it is un-PC to say this. But life is about luck, and most if not all events are about luck and default. How we handle our circumstances is key. We also have the means to improve ourselves and overcome obstacles in our way. life is about overcoming challenges.

This is true many obstacles in life is what makes us stronger and what we learn from them makes us smarter.
