Trouble Getting Realtors?
Anyone else have trouble with realtors? They either don't take me seriously, or because I picked an out of the way place don't want to go there.
I've been bounced from realtor to realtor and find myself doing all the realtor work myself?
Does anyone else have this problem? or is it just because I'm looking for a home in a lower price range?

Which area of NC are you looking (I'm thinking not CHarlotte since you didn't post there).
What is a low price range? <$300K, <$200K, < $500K?

Well I am a Realtor and if I can help you I would be more than happy to help. I like for my clients to feel as if they are the only clients I have as buying a house can be stressful and scary. PM me if you would like any other info.
Best of luck to you.

No, not even close, I'm a single mom so it's more like $100k and under.
Thanks CharlotteAgent, but I'm looking in the Franklin County/Wake Forest area and it's farther from you I think?

your welcome. I believe there is a lady on here called DebbieF that is a realtor from that area. I am sure she could help.
If you just have some questions you would like to bounce off me please feel free to PM me. The license law is still the same at least =)

My problem with realtors isn't the same as yours but I have sent requests for more info on houses/property listed on realtor dot com and other realty websites and I have received very few responses. Don't know what the deal is there.

I'm sorry that is happening to you. Those agents should be ashamed playing favorites, and choosing someone who wants ahigher priced home. I really don't even care if your a renter. One day you may buy, and then one day you may even buy up. I'd love to help you if your still looking for help. You cancontact me by pm or just email me. My contact info is on this site. Charlotteagent was right buying a home can be stressful, you don't need an agent that is going to stress you out more. It can also be an enjoyable experience with the right match. Again I'm sorry that happened to you.

Good questions, though, because in my case - I am trying to get my agent to help familiarize me with the right area of metro Charlotte for me when I live out of state. She was extremely helpful when I saw her in person in Charlotte, but a little slow in responding since then. I understand that she is probably busy with a lot of other customers that might be right in front of her, but its still a little frustrating despite the fact that I don't want to put unrealistic expectations on her.
The ironic thing at this point is that I'm really just looking for an efficient search engine, because most of the better known ones are outdated. There was at least three different times that a house showed up and I was interested enough to ask about it further and it was actually under contract. (Of course, it didn't say under contract on the large well-known search engines I was looking at.)
Also, when I contact the listing agents I feel like a tease because I'm already working with another realtor. I'm not trying to lead them on, just trying to get the best understanding I can and find the perfect home for me without burning out my realtor from 1,000 miles away!

Our realtor has been extremely helpful....heck she must have taken us to at least 50 homes from Thursday-Monday alone! When she doesn't have knowledge of something we need to know first hand she is quick to find the info out for us. My Dh and I are currently under the impression the woman is a saint after the patience she has shown!

They bounce you because they get a % if you buy. That trail of money must go long. They ALL work it this way. This is why they want to refer you out. I am 100% on this.
Remember, the lower the price of the home, the less commission they get. Some agents like people "I wont work unless I get $500 a day". Thus, they go broke and wonder why. Really If you really want the house, contact the listing agent (he/she will double side it) and they will get paid twice to help you. Might help you out some. Or, contact the Broker and let him/her know you want this house and are getting no help. Its amazing how quick they help you.
