I have homes in both Wake County and MiamiDade County. I am not surprised by the numbers for Wake County but MiamiDade did surprise me. Its out-migration is slowing down and its domestic immigration is ramping up. There is still more domestic migration out of the county than into it but there's definitely a trending of more balanced domestic migration patterns over time. Of course, MiamiDade continues to be a huge international immigration point and that keeps the county growing....now passed 2.5 million.
