average in charlotte area and it usually the high gas spot in the state due to lack of competition average is between 2.80 and 3.05
For some reason competition isnt allowed in that area only the big companies are like shell, bp, and citgo.

Wow its high there too. Here at the cheapest gas station in my area (Arco), gas went up to $3.37 about a month ago...I about choked when I saw that. But now its back down to $2.99. I never imagined in a million years that I would be dancing the happy jig because gas is $2.99!
