You mean we can actually drink "tap" water again I haven't had a sip of "tap" water in years. Everyone in Ocean County NJ is afraid of the Tap water. It is said to be contaminated and causing very "weird" cancer especially in kids.

I agree, I personally wouldn't drink any tap water for 100 miles the other side of the Hudson river. I however, live on the good side of the river.
Think I will go get a glass of tap water.....yum!

Sorry Radiojoe...this probably won't be much help for you since you are living in Clayton....but in Charlotte (Ballantyne area) and Matthews there is a place called Jersey Girl Bakery (yum) that some of you other east coast transplants might enjoy.

Well maybe you can plan a day-trip, traverse the Hudson and have a swig.
Gas and tolls? Cheaper to buy bottled. Gotta run, all this talk makes me thirsty.

I moved to NC. 18mo.s ago from RI . and I can not fine a good Italian bakery . I have too have MY MOM bring bread dough down so I can make hot fresh bread. I also am learning how to make my own here in NC. . I miss a good bakery with all the Italian flavor.

The ciabatta at Weaver St. Market in Carrboro is very good. I think their bakery is quite good in general but that ciabatta...
