Does anyone know the proper protocol (sp?) for an nc resident selling an out of state registered vehicle to another nc resident?
Do we have to register it first in NC?Cause I think whatever state it is registered in then it gets transferred according to what the title for that state says to do.......any input would be extremely welcome. ![]() |

You do not need to register it - the new owner will have to do that once they have the title put in their name.
