Krispy Kreme.
Also you can stop at just about any roadside farmers market and get a jar of muscadine or scuppernong jelly.

Also you have Duplin Wines and Hinnat Wines. Both have muscadine and scuppernong varieties.

Duplin Winery - the world's premier Muscadine winery located in Rose Hill, North Carolina - Duplin Winery

You should look to see if there's a good co-op grocery near you - I know there are co-ops in Asheville (French Broad), Greensboro (Deep Roots), Pittsboro (Chatham Marketplace), Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Hillsborough (Weaver Street Market) and Wilmington (Tidal Creek). They tend to specialize in carrying local/state artisanal stuff, from wines to cookies to local honey, you name it. Find one of those places and you could probably walk out with bags and bags of NC goodies.

Too bad you can't easily ship frozen stuff - Locopops, in Durham, has been picking up national press. I'd second the mention of Immaculate Baking Company as well: along with outstanding cookies, they've made donations of school arts programs, so they have a great track record for community involvement and re-investing (in many ways) in the state.
