I'm thinking of moving to the area from FL. I am self employed so finding a job is not an issue. I have been researching Charlotte NC but also Charleston SC. I'm looking for a climate that is not too cold in the winter. I know the summers get hot but I would think they compare to FL but for not as long? I'm looking for a nice, safe, friendly area. That is close to shopping and restaurants. I am not into night life but somewhere a single lady in her late 30's would fit in. Anyone else move from FL and how do you like it? What area do you feel either in NC or SC has the best all year round weather?
