We just moved to the Lillington area due to an employment change. What are some of the better places to have a date night? Not necessarily expensive, but nice atmosphere and decent food.

We are wanting to try the Mexican place at the corner of NC 210 and US 401 as it looks inviting..We have tried Howard's and it isn't too bad. The whole flounder special is a great deal and was rather good. The chopped BBQ is nice, and while it wasn't the best it was far from the worse.

Any suggestions would be soooooooooooo appreciated as the weekend is fast approaching and we are dawg-tired after moving way too much stuff.

Isn't there a Brick City Chop House nearby in Sanford?

There is a Cooley's 2 in Angier that might be interesting. The original in Fuquay-Varina has a great atmoshpere.

We pass by Cooleys 2 everyday. My wife has commented that it might be a place to stop once a month..While we have been through the area, we have not really investigated what is available. Now that we are almost situated, we are ready to meet our new neighbors (which would seem to include most of Harnett, Sanford, FV, and parts of Fayetteville...)
