Everyone the wife finally finished up Law school and passed the Bar in NC. Now the job hunt is on!

We are just over the border into TN staying with family and she is looking for any law job she can find in NC. She is looking for anything except for criminal defense. Let me know any leads you all might have.

I work from home so all I need is internet which means we can move pretty much anywhere. But definitely shoot me a direct message if you know of something. Thanks!

I would say look into areas that interest you, then look for jobs there. Maybe try craigslist?

Just FYI, you will get more responses if your subject line mentions what it is you are looking for (such as "looking for law jobs in NC"). "Looking for some help" is about as generic as they come, and could be about literally anything, and since people usually don't read every thread, they only stop on the ones where they have some interest or knowledge. Mentioning "law jobs" in the subject will get people who have such knowledge to stop and check.

There are probably websites with law jobs in NC, if you google the correct terms. Or, check out the career services websites of NC law schools, such as Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, etc. They probably give pointers to job-hunters with a local spin. Also, just look up law firms by name and see if they have "employment" links on their web pages.

However, surely you must have some criteria for where you want to be besides "in NC where she can get a job"? Why did you choose NC in the first place, i.e. what about this state is attractive to you? Start your job hunt in the areas you are interested in, since applying for very law job in the entire state would be a daunting task.
