This statement is 100% incorrect. I was terminated from my last job for what my employer termed poor job performance but was never written up for anything in my 7 years with them. I received full UI benefits.

I was terminated for a procedure violation, employees are allowed 4 procedure violations in a 12 month period. I had received 3 in my first 90 days, then my 4th after 10 months, which my manager said they were going to not count. then I received another (5th) at the 11 month period. I filed for Unemployment and was denied. I then apppealed, it has been3 months since they received my appeal and I haven't heard a peep, only continued claim forms. How long does it take?

If you're fired for cause or voluntarily quit you are not entitled to unemployment benefits. For the person who is fired, you can appeal but it will take weeks to get a hearing. And at that hearing you had better be prepared to prove your case. If the employer has documentation of you not showing up, tardiness etc, they will win. For the person who quit his job,you were gainfully employed for whatever circumstances and you made the choice to quit and lose that income. Your decision was within your control so you are not eligible.
