Default Is NC really voting to make natural medicine illegal?

Here's the link. Is this really happening? Anyone know any details/info?
Thanks.

NC bill to criminalize natural medicine delayed: Call and oppose NOW
Ther article you link to kind of over generalizes this issue. To fully understand the Bill you have to first understand what their definition of practicing medice is. To do that you need to read exisitng state statutes:

http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/enactedl...0/gs_90-18.pdf

The penalties already exist - the new bill just clarifies the exisiting statute. I don't think it will have any impact on people any more than the previous statute did.

Ok, there were three other comments here and they just disappeared?

Anyhow, I read the statue (thanks) but it is in "lawyerese" and is vague. They just made a bunch of natural products illegal in Europe, so I'm wondering if this is starting to happen here. They did just make intravenous vitamin C illegal here, and it was harmless and made many cancer victims feel better. I have read many studies that say it helps patients heal better after surgery also.

Big pharma has been trying to crack down on all of this stuff for a while because it is cutting into their profits. Scary.

Just an update: the vote was postponed again because of the many phone calls/emails protesting was sounded like they were going to start cracking down on vitamins/herbs/etc... They also changed the wording in the statue. Naturalnews.com has updates. The guy that runs it is a bit over the top sometimes, but I think his intentions are good.
