Cost of DMV written test?
Hi Folks!
About to take my NC DMV written test this week as well as new license(thanks to all of you who posted the DMV cheat sheets on this forum; it really helps!)
How much is all this to get done?

Not sure on the cost, but there is a great "cheaqt sheet" that sunnykayak posted on the newcomers guide to charlotte |

The cost of my license was $32.00. its good for 8 years. getting the car registered was another story altogether  . They will accept checks and cash only. Check must be from a NC bank, not sure what other isssues there were with using a check, safe to bring the cash. Hope this helps. |

Carolynpt we never even saw the book. We used the cheat sheet and aced it. For each of us there was a question that wasn't in that sheet. Anyone who studied the manual really wasted their time.

Yes the cost is $32.00. My husband paid that amount, however, both of my neighbors said they had to pay that in addition to a $5 fee that had to be paid in cash? My husband did not have to pay the $5 cash fee so I'm not sure what my neighbors were being charged for??? |
