Need ANy Info On MOving To NC (Charlotte, Raleigh: good schools, living in)

me and my family are thinking about moving and was wondering if anyone had good advice. we want to live in a small town but close to a city. also we have a child so want to make sure there are things for him to do. and shopping is a must lol! my hubby is looking to ghet out of the militry so is there a good place to go where police jobs are available? thank you for any information I appreciate it

You could have him check with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department to see if they are accepting applications. Then plan on living in maybe Concord, a nearby bedroom community which has good schools and a little bit lower cost of living than Charlotte. You would also be very near the HUGE Concord Mills Mall for that shopping you like

Oh, I strongly suggest the Raleigh Police Department. Some great smaller town would then be Wake Forest, Youngsville, Fuquay Varina, Clayton and Knightdale. There are others as well. I am sure that Charlotte PD needs officers but Raleigh does as well. Good luck and much success!
