Default Village Voice type of newspaper?
Do any of the NC metro areas have a Village Voice type of newspaper? Maybe it is referred to as "alternate press"?

Lots of music, restaurant, hip urban type stuff... ?

The Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area has The Independent Weekly, which is a free paper that comes out every Wednesday. You can pick it up at coffee shops, bookstores and numerous restaurant and retail locations throughout the Triangle Area.
