Im only being honest about our experiences, Im told that if you go to Raleigh or one of the bigger cities its not quite as bad, but then you have more of the crime, housing prices are a little higher and i believe there is year round schooling to deal with the influx of new people which doesnt appeal to me personally. Tell your kids that being a "Cultured Yankee" is better than being a Redneck.

Ive never understood why southerners think Yankee is a derogatory term. Im one and I carry that term with pride. Maybe they are just jellous that the North won the war.
