So the two week battle is on! Why don't the DEMS send the Govenors budget through as a bill? I'm so confused by this. Why are we waiting so late to vote on the budget proposal that she wants? Hopefully that bill is presented next week, if not July 1st is going to show up quickly!

Yes, we need to keep spending all that money on a bureaucracy that has shown itself remarkably incompetent at educating the children of the State of North Carolina.

Gov Bev doesn't have a clue. She is a puppet on a string. It just amazes me the people that get elected into office. Guess that helps explain why this country is in the shape it's in.

I agree. This morning I emailed the 5 Democrats who voted for the budget plan and asked them to change their vote and support the Governor's veto.
