Hello, we are thinkink to locate in New Bern. I've found out that Raleigh-Durham airport is the closest to New Bern, it's about 111 miles. Could You suggest the cheapest way to get to New Bern, is it by train or taxi or bus? The trip from Lithuania to the USA is very expensive and it ,,eats " almost all of our money, of course we need to think about rent prices and food too.

New Bern [/color]since the city is growing and it's a better opportunity to find jobs. I appreciate Your support, it's really hard to move to a different country and to leave everybody and everything here in Lithuania, and I am worried about my two kids very much because we are going to the unknown.

Hello, Skybird! I' m from Latvia, in America 8 years. Did you move in NC? i THINK THE BEST WAY to move in the area close to russian /baltic communities. We lived in Ma, moved to Charlotte area. There are 3 russian stores, airport is 30 min away from our home. I think New Bern is faaar away from airport-100 miles?
It's hard to start from sscratch, but if you would move to Charlotte area, fast -growing area, you would be fine. At least we are near by, another lithuanian woman. Just e-mail me, and i'll give you some advice how to find apartments still being in Lithuania. Please, don't hesitate: irina_bader@yahoo.com

from Matilda
Hello Giedre,
My name is Matilda Giedre Allen. I live in Chicago. I'm very concearan about your decision.
I have read those "responds" and people opinion about your green card. That's very nice, that you're have made a decision, but would be more reasonable to move in the first place where you know somebody, who can help you.
You can even imagine, how many problems you will have, I would say you going to be borned in America, where is no parents. America is wonderfull Country. There is LEGAL Even Rights for everybody, but everybody are resposible for there self and everybody resposible for the Country. Nobody here puts the bread on the table, you're have to earned that. Get ready- for chalange, for hard work, pay taxes and prove to be right citizen of America. If you past this "life test", and I'm pretty sure someone would be always watching after you , you will survive everywhere, even in Europa.
Nobody wait's for you with the bread and the solt in the aeroport. Very hard, but very sweet to be real American. So, I wish you would past this test, it's not easy, but if you want, - you make it.
Giedre Matilda Allen
P.S. I'm in America 10 years. I had somebody, who would meet me in the aeroprot, but better they woudn't come. I have my story , but everybody hase one. That make me strong and I LOVE AMERICA. So, do what you have to do.search for the hotels and pick the right city.
