So what exactly do us Yankees do to annoy the natives so much? (moving, rating)

I'm a Northern NYC transplant and NY yankee fan.

I do have to admit a lot of northerners come here and complain, we are not all like that though. I love the people here and do have to say that the people who anger me most are the northerners who move here and complain about this and that as well as question things. Those of you who act that way just simply embarass me as someone who moved here from the north.

Again though, this is America, NYC is home to you all in the south too as it is part of your country.

As I have done traveled the world and have fought in Iraqi war when we entered that country, I did it for my American brothers and sisters not northerners or southerners but all of us. When California was mentioned while over there that was home to me, yet have never lived there, when Florida was mentioned that was home to me, get the point.

BTW, I'll never complain about NC, I love it here and I love all my brothers and sisters from here.

This whole thing is more about the whole world moving into our state then the Southern Northern thing. People will resent having thier homes detroyed by outsiders whether its Ny NJ or FL CA. Its human nature and alot of you would do the same thing if you didnt have a choice to whats happing to your state. Its part of life and goes both ways, We cant stop thousands of transplants and transplants cant stop people being upset about the issue but tansplants have the choice we dont.

I live in the real world and I raise my children not to believe what they see and hear unless it is first hand. It would sure be nice if others did that as well. Maybe then people wouldn't be so judgemental!

I am not a stupid person. I never stated that I believe what I saw on TV and movies. If anything considering how poorly they portray me as a southerner I tend not to believe that and base my opinions on real people and experiences.
