Post Woodlake Community in Vass?

Anyone here know much about the Woodlake community in Vass? I just rec'd some info on properties within the community and they are very nice and prices are reasonable (listing price $183,000 for a 4 bed/2.5 bath on 1/4 acre). But the more i read about it, i am not sure if it is "family friendly". Think there are any young families with kids there?

Also, I just checked out the membership costs-whew! My wallet nearly ran away... Does anybody think it would be worth it to own in the community without paying the membership dues? Seems like you'd miss out but I don't know.

Help.

Sapphire, can I assume you have children? Grade school is 12 miles away in Vass, Middle School is another 8 miles beyond that-right next to the High School. There are children in Woodlake. Not that many, but there are some.
Child friendly? Yes, most residents love kids-they have grandchildren after all.
I know that Halloween is real good for Trick-or-Treaters.
My only caution is flooding. Woodlake has a history of springtime flooding with residents unable to leave the developement. Not RAGING floods, with houses swept away, just a minor 2 day inconvenience.
And remember, Fort Bragg is only @5 miles away. Developement will soon come to this area with the influx of 25,000 military people (not including their families).
