Default Any Help Appreciated

Any suggestions for a single senior would be greatly appreciated. Will be relocating to North Carolina to be close to my daughter who will be living in Clayton. Don't know too much about the area but would like to be somewhere where there is some activity and can make friends. I don't know if Iwant to be in a senior community because I love the mix of older and younger. I love the water and wonder if there are any lake communities not too far from the Raleigh area that aren't too expensive. A patio home would be perfect for me. Does anyone have any suggestions about what area would be good for someone in my position?
