Default Recommendations for supplemental health insurance?
Curious if anyone had any recommendations for supplemental health insurance? I already have BCBSNC for my major coverage so wondered if there was something to help fill in the gaps.

I have some dumb questions that might help other give you a better answer. Are you on Medicare? What additional costs are you trying to cover? For example, hospitalization above some limit, other services that BCBSNC does not cover? Why not inquire with BCBS as a starting point?

No Medicare. I was hoping for something to help take the bite out of my current deductible and total out-of-pocket, as well as cover certain things (such as vitamins) that are now medically required (but sold without prescription).

If you have an individual health plan in North Carolina, you cannot get another individual plan to supplement. Rule from the DOI
