The Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, and Greensboro/Winston Salem metros are where you'll want to focus.

I've been suprised with how diverse Raleigh has been. I think it's due to the big presence of Bio-tech and IT here. Out of the 15 houses on my block there are 3 Indian families and 1 pakastani family that I know of. Not to mention that we are from Northern VA and are the "southerners" on the block. My wife is in Bio-tech and just on her team of 10 people, 6 of them are not from the US. They are from Eastern Europe, Cambodia, etc.

I'm sure Charlotte is Diverse as well, but even though Raleigh and Durham are smaller, we might be a little more diverse percentage wise (people from outside the country). I would have to check the numbers on that though.
