Has any of the money donated by opponents been spent in Western NC on newspaper and TV ads? I hope the Triad hasn't written us off, and is spending the money where it can educate the still uninformed.

Chelsea Clinton wrote in an e-mail urging against the antigay ballot intiative to be decided Tuesday.

"I believe that everyone must stand up for what is right, whenever possible, wherever possible,"
"It is our duty to join the fight on behalf of both the gay and lesbian North Carolinians who were the original targets of the amendment and the tens of thousands of straight male and female North Carolinians who will be collateral damage if the amendment passes next Tuesday,"

Default Amendment One--What do you think?

Straight female. I will vote AGAINST Amendment One.

Disgusted at the bigots. Watched a debate on WFMY and near died at the religous nuts saying that marriage is strictly to bring children into this world

I am sure that my straight, married, childless friends will be happy to know that the only reason they should be married is to have children.

Again-I will be voting AGAINST Amendment One.

How about you?

As an African American, I feel disgusted that the same people who want to try and deny my right to vote under the guise of voter fraud, which is nothing more than trying to suppress minority voters, is trying to get me to support their agenda, I DON'T THINK SO! For the record, I've already voted against it b/c of that!
