the new red license plates remind me of commercial license plates.
anyhow, they should be assigned to rednecks only - for easy identification...

Default New Red license plates

What happened to "Carolina Blue"?

I hate these new plates - they look like commercial vehicle plates. I've had my plates for 8 years now, and the blue hasn't faded ~ so who thought up that excuse?

When I drive around the country, I'm proud of my license plates, because I'M FROM NORTH CAROLINA!

And who chose RED as the singular color now??? Did I miss the vote?

It de-personalizes us (if there is such a word). It takes away our uniqueness.
GIVE ME BACK THE BLUE!!!!!! My Fellow Carolinians should be resisting this, not accepting it! I mean, did we have a choice?

Look up into this great blue Carolina sky tomorrow morning.....it's what we're known for.

Don't you think SOMETHING'S WRONG HERE, when that's the color that was taken OUT of our license plates? I'd feel better about it if the one color was...CAROLINA BLUE!

You do have a choice with the custom plates.

You do have a choice not required in owning a car in North Carolina in which you will have to have registered with current tags.
