I have a buyer that is financing it and we are meeting at the Bank Thur , but he says we may have to go to a dealership to transfer the boat registration.

Hoping that is something buyer can do without me..

The boat was bought with out a title which is normal I think if we bought it cash
from a dealer..

When I sold mine, the guy came up, with a truck and hitch, we (I think) signed the back of the title or registration, whatever, and he drove off. I got a cashier's check, don't know if he financed it or not. It was painless and swift transaction, interrupted only by the huge black snake that transited the driveway as we got the paperwork out. Oh, I checked on how to do this, before I sold.

Good Luck.

Thanks..We have done lots of things this way..He is getting a loan so I think we need to go to the bank for that reason..Also its in my late husbands name as well as mine. The bank has been the one to notorize stuff when I showthem the proper estate paperwork.

The park about going with the buyer to a marine dealership is the part that seems weird..He should be able to do that stuff on his own it seems.
