Although none are listed in the local yellow pages, I have seen 2 different "local cabs" around and about the area. My wife and I are from Westchester and remarked that it was "about time". They weren't yellow cabs, but did have "Taxi Service" on the side and a local Tel #. I know there are vans that hire out for golfers to "bar hop". And I know that MCTS (Moore County Transportation System) transports handicapped persons, but don't know how that system works.
Try contacting the local Chamber of Commerce, they would probably know of Taxis or Car Services.
