Obama has zero chance at winning even If he was a good president. No sitting president could win under the current economy.

And since Obama is the worst president of the modern era, its going to be an utter massacre.

Almost every reputable (i.e. unbiased) political site says this is Obama's to lose, short of an economic collapse (which many would say the Republicans in Congress are trying to achieve, for that reason). The election will be fairly close, not a "massacre" in either direction. As usual, it will come down to Florida, Ohio, and a few others such as Virginia and maybe Wisconsin or Colorado. NC is unlikely to be the state that makes the difference, but the right "wind at his back" COULD give Obama NC again this time. These are not my opinions, rather what I have seen voiced by numerous political hacks.

Please explain what you meant by "a lot of notherners moved in and improved the state"

Hmmm. I can't vote in the poll because I'd be voting Libertarian.

The poll is poorly worded in the first place and does not synch with the thread title about whether we are a Swing state, anyway.

I don't think North Carolina is a swing state in this particular election. As a whole, the state's definitely leaning strongly toward Romney. Obama will probably be reelected, however.

Default Who will you be voting for in 2012

I'll saw the other thread if North Carolina was a swing state with a poll. To make it more clear I made another for just who you are voting for.

You might want to confine the voting to NC state residents eligible to vote.

or else move the poll to nationwide.

Of course you are assuming Ron Paul won't get the nomination.

A lot of it will depend on AA turnout. That is a large part of why Obama won last time.

Now people are building again, buying homes, getting jobs, and have health care. Which I think the health care bill is wonderful, now people can afford to buy their pills and see a doctor. Its not that bad, people who have no jobs and can't pay will get medicaid, then people who have jobs their company will pay. People don't understand that many Americans can't get health insurance that need it and now its fair to all. Also do you remember that the unemployment was 14% in 2008. Think about this too when bush was in from 2000 to 2004 the country was doing the best it could do, from 2004 to 2008 the country went down to the worst it could do. It took 8 years to see what bush could do. It took Obama 4 years to get the country on the right track. Things are slow but it will get better for the past month I'll seen many jobs coming in my area about 2,000. My area is Greensboro just to let you know.

Wow, just wow.

It surely would be fantastic if any of this were true but statistics prove these statements are not.
