Charlotte hit a low of 58° this morning in Charlotte missing the record low of 56° set in 1952. Today marked the 16th straight day with a below average temperature in Charlotte.

The weather was great in the Triangle about noonish on Saturday. Almost felt a little like fall with the cool temps and nice breezes.

Well, my yard managed to stay green this year. We only had one small period that it started to dry up. I personally think this summer has been quite pleasurable. We don't get too many summers like this one and the past two days have been absolutely perfect! I hate to see it fading. Not ready to retire te flip flops anytime soon.

This is the last full week of summer, and Fall is really making itself known. Temps stayed in the 70s today in most of Central and Western North Carolina today for highs. Lows tonight will be in the 50s, with some 40s in some areas.

Heat is alot more unbearable in Charlotte than it is in MHC, though if you were on the coast his summer you'd have the rain to complain about, especially this past month. Though temps were sill a lot more bearable compared to inland and you can't beat that sea breeze.
