I honestly think that Charlotte would be better off with Dalton. Neither will be in a position to shower Charlotte with anything. I've seen McCrory cast his lot with the tea party in news clips. If you've liked our tea party legislature, McCrory's your man.

I think that Dalton has a more even-handed approach that includes the areas surrounding the big cities.

McCrory is a crony capitalist and a poor politician as the only tough race he has run in, he lost. If Perdue had not done such an excellent job in getting people to hate her, he would not stand a chance now. I'd say put McCrory in a movie if you want to put people to sleep. You think people would know better after listening to him whine like a b**** on WCNC every Sunday for the last 4 years.

The only advert of his that I've seen is a rehash of "Drill Baby Drill" except that it will be done in NC. Didn't work for Wacky un Sacki, and only the stupid will believe it now. Insulting this is all that he can offer and taking all the credit and none of the blame for Charlotte's economic position.

I fault him and Dalton for constantly throwing out this fake "good 'ole boy' act they are putting on for the Jessicrats. These two boys don't know anything about dirty fingernails. Unfortunately it's like all the choices we have this year. Dumb and dumber.

I'm going to vote Libertarian as a protest vote against this tragedy.

I was torn last week, but I'm quite sure now that I will vote for Obama and McCrory.

McCrory was in office when the city boomed and employment was much higher. Obama is in office when the country is going down the toilet and employment is much worse. Obama=lower home values, higher property taxes, astronomical gas prices, high unemployment, excuses, excuses, excuses. I could go on but you get the point.

Texas is doing pretty good. Does he get that credit also? North Carolina imploded during the Bush Years... Should we just blame Bush for starting our crisis in the first place?

It's not the legislature, it's Art Pope, who controls the legislature by targeting any Republican who doesn't toe the line for defeat in the primary against his hand-picked Tea party candidate. His millions of dollars have helped elect Tea party candidates and they're beholden to him. The legislature will continue on with their extremist right-wing agenda, and McCrory won't veto anything. He'll rubber stamp it all according to Art Pope's wishes.

That's it in a nutshell.

I'm moderate. I don't want either extreme. McCrory trashed Bev weekly on Sunday mornings on WCNC, which is tacky & tasteless. My big problem with him is that he will rubberstamp the tea party. Wayne King is one of the state-wide GOP officials. He lives in Kings Mountain. He's made some comments on WCNC that should have raised a few eyebrows. He's laid out a lot of their plans that have been picked up in the Kings Mountain Herald. There's nothing moderate or prudent about their plans.

If the tea party is not tossed out, Dalton will veto the tea party.

I'm talking the Myers Park professional/business power structure, not necessarily the politicians.

I would too, as we all know how democratic Charlotte is. I would pay green money to see 4
more years of what our "Business Development Gov" has given us in NC.
