Then you would also have to include the gold rush orange & gold line that carry over a million & UNCC campus shuttle that carries a lot & concord,gastonia& rock hill which have local service but don't know the numbers

Ridership for CATS Buses in 2013 was 26,699,311 from CATS 2014 report. Lynx 4,977,800 for total of 31,677,111.
This is a off topic question but man there is much undeveloped land here. What do you think Charlotte or Raleigh would do with it if they had it lol? Luckly I have access to Wi-Fi to stay updated.

My point was that other cities within the region also offer transit. So I'm pretty sure concord& gastonia have comparable ridership to Cary (so add 700,000) plus the Wolf line is like UNCC's shuttle (underwritten by student fees & free to it's users)
