Charlotte: Gamma+ world economic city
Raleigh (and all by itself without Durham): Gamma

Essentially a tie.

Adding Durham would likely make Raleigh gamma +, perhaps even Beta minus which would put it over Charlotte.

Oh, and Charlotte, you can add Rock Hill and Gastonia, I don't mind

Gotta lump Fayatteville in there too along with Durham, lol! I notice Charlatans like to bring in the other Triangle cities into the Raleigh area if it isn't favorable to Raleigh, but if bringing the other area cities is favorable to Raleigh then they say, "oh no no no you can't count the cities outside Raleigh!" Hilarious and desperate at the same time.

But while we are including Fayettville as part of Raleigh lets see what that does to the state's metropolitan area rankings?

#1 Raleigh metro if including Fayetteville: 2,726,000
#2 Charlotte Metro: 2,493,040
